Identco International Company, LLC (hereinafter, collectively, “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) have created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy.   • “Shine the Light”: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information to a third party for the third party's direct marketing purposes.

 

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise your rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to the Company by:

Only you, or a person that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. If you are making a request on behalf of another person, you must provide written legal documentation that you are authorized to act on behalf of that individual. The verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows the Company to reasonably verify you are the person about whom it collected personal information or an authorized representative; and
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We may not be able to fulfill your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. To verify your identity, we may request up to three pieces of personal information about you, and we reserve the right to take additional steps as necessary to verify your identity if we have reason to believe a request is fraudulent.

Response Timing and Format

The Company endeavors to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If the Company requires more time (up to 90 days), it will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. The Company will deliver the written response by mail or electronically, at your option. The response the Company provides will also explain the reasons it cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, the Company will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance. The Company does not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If the Company determines that the request warrants a fee, it will tell you why it made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Third-Party Web Sites.

The Company Site may contain links to, or plugins or widgets from, social media or other sites operated and maintained by third parties, over which we have no control. Privacy practices on such sites may be different from our Privacy Policy. Similarly, the Company Site may be accessed and used from third-party sites that we do not control. We encourage you to consult the privacy policies that govern such sites before using them.

Children Under the Age of 16

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe someone under the age of 16 has provided us with personal information, we ask that you contact us through the methods described below.

Information Security.

We maintain commercially reasonable and appropriate standards to safeguard your personal information. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal information when you are on the internet. Although we will take reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of such information transmitted to the Company Site. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Company Site.

Privacy Policy Updates.

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will post on the Company Site all changes to the Privacy Policy, and, if the changes are significant, will provide a more prominent notice of the Privacy Policy change. Each version of this Privacy Policy will be identified by its effective date, found at the main page of the Privacy Policy.
